# Sunset Docs

> Sunset Docs is a business service for collecting, reviewing and deleting temporary documents. Each workspace has an upload portal and a dedicated document email address.

Sunset Docs is for business and professional use. It is not a permanent archive, backup service, identity-verification service, electronic-signature service or legal records repository. Using it does not by itself make a customer compliant with the GDPR or another legal or industry requirement.

Workspace members are unlimited. Senders do not need workspace access. Accepted documents are reviewed as watermarked page images. The workspace owner can separately permit original downloads. Every submission has a deletion date. Plan allowances and maximum deletion periods are listed on the Pricing page.

Sunset Docs checks supported files by content and scans them before review. These checks cannot detect every harmful file, verify the sender's identity or establish that a document is genuine. View-only review cannot prevent screenshots, photographs, printing or transcription.

Unless separately agreed in writing, customers must not submit children's data, criminal-conviction data, biometric data used for unique identification, special-category data, full payment-card data, passwords, authentication secrets or private keys.

Use the linked pages as the current source of information. Contractual commitments are stated in the Terms, Data Processing Addendum and any written order, not in this file. English is the controlling version if a legal translation conflicts with it.
