This policy explains the cookies Sunset Docs places on your device. Sunset Docs currently uses only first-party cookies needed for security, sign-in, language, and billing-currency preferences.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text values a website stores in your browser. They can keep a secure session working or remember a choice between visits.
2. Cookies Sunset Docs uses
sunset_session keeps a signed-in session available for up to seven days. It is Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite=Lax. sunset_csrf protects forms from cross-site request forgery for up to seven days. It is Secure and SameSite=Lax.
sunset_locale remembers a language choice for up to one year when more than one language is available. sunset_currency remembers a selected billing currency for up to one year. These cookies do not track activity across unrelated websites.
3. Third-party pages
Sunset Docs does not load advertising or third-party analytics cookies on its pages. Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies when you leave Sunset Docs for hosted Checkout or the Customer Portal. Stripe controls those technologies under its own privacy and cookie information.
4. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the session or CSRF cookies will prevent sign-in and secure form submission. Deleting the language or currency cookie only resets that preference.
Because Sunset Docs does not currently use optional analytics or advertising cookies, it does not show a consent banner. We will introduce a valid consent choice before adding any optional cookie that requires consent.
5. Changes
We will update this policy before introducing a new cookie category or materially changing how an existing cookie is used.
